Yes. Share the supplier’s contact, cargo location, destination and required services. Once the scope and authorisation are agreed, introduce LIYUAN as your freight contact for those arrangements.
What information makes a freight quotation useful?
Provide the origin and destination, cargo description, package count, gross weight, volume or container requirements, ready date and required services. Mention your target arrival window and any special handling needs.
Can we request a quote before production is finished?
Yes. Use your best current cargo estimate and expected ready date for an initial discussion. Final arrangements need to reflect the actual cargo, available services and quotation validity when you proceed.
Are all origin and destination charges included?
Only the services and charges stated in the agreed quotation are included. Ask for the origin and destination scope to be clear, including which party arranges and pays for clearance, local handling and onward delivery.
Can LIYUAN arrange just booking, trucking or loading?
Yes. Tell us whether you need ocean booking, container trucking, loading coordination or a combination. We will discuss the connections with the services handled by your supplier or another freight partner.
What if our supplier’s ready date or the vessel schedule changes?
Tell LIYUAN as soon as a change is known. We can review the effect on the booking, loading and port plan and discuss available options. Any revised arrangements and applicable charges should be confirmed before proceeding.
Are sailing dates, transit times or vessel space guaranteed?
They should be assessed against the specific booking and carrier confirmation. Schedules and space can change, so share your delivery priorities and allow the shipment plan to be reviewed when circumstances change.
Who handles customs clearance and delivery at destination?
Confirm this in the service scope before booking. Your consignee, appointed broker or destination freight partner may handle those activities. Ask LIYUAN about any additional support required for your specific destination.
What if the cargo contains batteries, liquids or unusual sizes?
Describe the cargo and special handling requirements at the enquiry stage, and provide the relevant product information when requested. Acceptance, equipment and additional requirements need to be checked before booking.
